On Friday December 10, 2010 I turned 38 weeks! Full term and very, very pregnant! I have been done with work now for 3 weeks and on bed rest for 1 week. Things slowed down quite a bit once I wasn't able to go anywhere or do much. It also has made this waiting for Ella to arrive a little harder. But I am trying to enjoy it as much as I can...all this free time and rest because I know I won't be getting much once she is here!On Monday we found out that I am low on amniotic fluid and her estimated weight is 8 pounds 12 ounces. I was put on mild bed rest and told to drink lots of water. That's exactly what I have been doing! I also have to have 2 non stress tests done a week to monitor our baby's heart rate and make sure it goes up every time she moves. We have had to very good NST tests come back so she is doing well despite the lack of fluid in there!
Next week on Tuesday we have another ultrasound scheduled to see how she's is doing (growing) and to check on my fluid levels. The end is near! I am so excited we are so close! If time could just go by a little quicker, that sure would be nice!
In the mean time, I will rejoice in this gift of rest that God has given me and consider myself blessed!
Speaking of blessed, Jesse and I are getting ready to celebrate or 2nd wedding anniversary! These 2 years have gone by so fast, but have been, by far, the best 2 years of my life! We've been through a lot these past 2 years. I went through school and received my bachelor's degree, we lived with my parents for 3 months, moved twice, accepted the position as youth pastor at our church, became pregnant with our first child, bought two new cars, got a dog...we've done a lot! But that's just how this Munoz family rolls!
May I just finish by saying I love Jesse so much! I am truly blessed and happy being married to him, he has made me one very happy gal!
