August 19, 2010 Jesse and I had our follow up ultrasound from our 18 week appointment and all went well. It was confirmed during this ultrasound that we are definitely having a girl! In the picture of her, she is looking up at the camera. That was cool to watch on the ultrasound. She is already a girl, posing for the camera! After our ultrasound, I headed to Oregon with my pal Briana to meet up with my other friend Laura for a fun girl weekend in Cannon Beach. It was a blast! Its amazing how much time it seems has gone by since we were all at Ecola Bible School, making memories and learning about Jesus! Our lives have changed quite a bit since then. Being there 12 years later, married and pregnant really made it feel like I lived there in another life!
It is so amazing to me that Laura, Briana and I have remained friends for all these years. No matter how much time goes by, whenever we get together it feels like no time has gone by at all. We all got a chance to pray for each other after we cooked smores and roasted hot dogs over a campfire at the beach. It was pretty awesome! We also met up with our friend Becky who went to Ecola with us too. Always good to see her!
I will be 23 weeks tomorrow in my pregnancy. It is going by so fast, and the closer I get to having Ella, the more excited I get! Jesse and I are starting to make plans for her nursery. We just need to get her crib, and start decorating! I am also excited for that part! I cannot wait to meet her and see what kind of little baby girl God has blessed us with!

How fun! How special it is to get together with old friends like that! I'm glad you had such a nice time:) Have fun with the nursery decorating! Are you doing a "theme"?

Ella is a blessed little girl already, she has a great Mom & Dad to raise her.
Cant wait to see you at somepoint this weekend, we are coming to town Friday morning!!
Love you :)
Rebekah-I just picked out some ladybug/polkadot bedding, and all the decor that goes with it from Target, so I guess her theme for her room is ladybugs and polkadots!
Thanks Lori, you are right, friendships are very important! Especially when you can keep them for a long time! I love you too, and am excited to see you too!
