This is my first time as a blogger! Thanks for introducing this to me Bethany! I hope to use this as much as I can to keep people in touch with what I'm up to! With that in mind, why don't I update you right now?
First of all, I'm so excited that it is Easter tomorrow! It is the celebration of Jesus being risen and a time to remember what He has done for us on the cross. I'm excited to get together with family and friends tomorrow too. My parents are making a huge meal at their house and they make some good food!
Second of all, I've been a part of this small group at the new church I've just started attending and its called "Search For Signifigance." It has been so amazingly life changing. I have really enjoyed it. God has been revealing alot of things to me, mostly about what He thinks of me and I'm just seeing that in a whole different light. Finding my self worth in the truth's that God says about me, rather than in what other people think, or how successful, or not so successful, I am in life.
I am also getting ready to attend Lesley University in June, which will be on Tacoma Community College Campus. I am looking forward to starting this program, and I already know where I want to do my student teaching, so I'm just ready to get this underway!
Im trying to spend as much time doing the things I normally can't do while I'm in school because I only have about 2 months left before my freedom is gone. Im spending as much time as I can with my friends and family and working out as much as I can. (hopefully I will continue that through school too.)
I moved in February too. I live in Federal Way now and I have a roommate too. That was totally an answer to prayer because I was very done living by myself. Her name is Sarah, and she has two dogs, Sadie and Josie. One's a big dog and one's a little Chuauah. (sorry don't know how to spell that.) We have been having lots of quality roommate time...she's very fun to live with.
